Choose your camp

2 days - “Code Foundations”
A fast-paced introduction that works for both first-time coders and students with some prior experience. We’ll cover the essential building blocks of coding, reinforce core concepts, and give everyone the chance to create a small project such as a game or web app. Ideal for beginners taking their first steps, or for those wanting a quick, focused refresher to sharpen their skills.

3 days - “Creative Coders”
A chance to go further, whether you’re brand new or already coding. Over three days, students will explore core coding concepts in more depth, collaborate on creative projects, and take on problem-solving challenges. With extra time to experiment and build, you’ll strengthen your foundations while creating something fun — from games to apps to websites.

5 days - “From Beginner to Builder”
A full-week deep dive for students ready to go all in. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already coding, this camp gives you the time to move from basics to confident builder, tackle bigger projects, and polish your skills. By the end of the week, you’ll have a solid foundation, hands-on experience, and a project you’ll be proud to show off.

Device options

BYOD – Bring Your Own Laptop (Windows or Mac). Even oldies are generally ok.

PP5 – Purchase a PI5 (Raspberry Pi). Build and program your own Raspberry Pi 5 computer — and take it home at the end of the week! (The PP5 price includes the new Raspberry Pi 5 provided at cost price.)

* We use a lot of pair-based learning. If two friends or family members attend together they can share a single laptop or Pi.

Child Safety

All adult instructors hold valid Working With Children Checks. For some sessions, senior high-school students take the lead or provide one-on-one mentoring, bringing fresh peer-to-peer energy to the camp. These activities are always closely supervised by an experienced adult instructor.

Can students arrive earlier than 9am?

We'll be there from 8:30am, so students can arrive from 8:30am

Can two students share one device?

Yes — much of the course is done in pairs. Friends or siblings are encouraged to work together on a single device.

Should students pack lunch?

No need. We provide lunch and morning tea.
Be sure to let us know if your child has any special dietary requirements or alergies.

Do students need coding experience?

No prior experience is needed for the Code Foundations or Beginner to Builder courses. We also cater to intermediate coders in each stream.

Are you teaching any AI related topics?

In this Spring camp, we’ll introduce effective ways to use AI as a tool to support and enhance students’ coding — not replace it. Our main focus remains on building strong foundations, problem-solving skills, and confidence in core programming languages.

Can my child attend only in the mornings or afternoons?

Whilst we don't provide an option for this on the registration or checkout forms, we may be able to support your particular schedule requirement. Contact [Simon](/contact) to discuss this requirement.
